Vietnam Veterans Recognition Day

Every year VVA982 honors those that served in the Vietnam-era. Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans' Day is scheduled every year to honor all our brothers and sisters.

Clayton's Veteran's Day BBQ

This year VVA982 participates in the Michael B. Clayton hosted huge Veterans Day celebration that includes a parade, flag ceremony and barbecue for local veterans, their families and the community.

New Life K9 Fund Raiser Info Coming Soon

The VVA982 Chapter has presented Jack at New Life K9's with a check to kick it off. New Life K9 educates Service Dogs for Veterans and First Responders that are in need.  Information will be coming soon.

Home Depot Veteran's Upgrade

Ernie Serrano served in the US Army from 1966/1970 in Vietnam. He received 3 Silver Stars and 7 Purple hearts and is a real American Hero. His name is also being considered for the Medal of Honor.

Ernie Serrano was awarded a Home Depot grant to do home repairs in the amount over $7,000.00. Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 982 will be feeding Home Depot volunteers lunch and taking pictures.
